It is critical that Hazelwood is closed and that the LaTrobe Valley residents and workers are given a just, positive transition to a new, green future. It is utterly wrong to subject our children to cancer and asthma causing dioxins, sulphates and ash. Hazelwood is the 3rd dirtiest power station in the world, and is responsible for 5% of Australia’s emissions all by itself! Time for renewables and green jobs for the future!!
