Voices of the Valley, the community advocacy group formed during the Hazelwood Mine Fire, has organised a forum to discuss the Report of the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry, its recommendations and to determine priorities for a community response.

VOTV has previously organised forums for the  community toward and after the end of the Mine Fire, and collected community concerns by way of affidavits and audio-visual recording.  Issues and concerns collected at these meetings were presented in evidence to the HMFI which has recently reported.

The forum will cover community options emerging from the report, including the possibility of class action legal proceedings.
